Tyler's Digital Scrapbook

I made two different digital scrapbooks and hope
that you like both of them as much as I do. The making of each of these were a
little bit different. They were in a lot of ways very similar. Both Smilebox
and Animoto allowed me to put pictures into its program; which was kind of a
given, considering that they were digital picture slideshows.
They both
had good music to play during the scrapbook presentation. That was a plus,
because in my opinion one factor that plays into a good presentation is its
music. Now, I will tell you about each individual program.
Smilebox, this was the first program I used to
make a scrapbook. This program was a great program to make a Scrapbook; they
had a few premium options. That was okay! They had great presentation software,
with things like text or captions below the pictures. They gave me a great
preview of what my presentation would look like. The software also included
some picture adjustments. They made my pictures and presentation overall look
better than it would’ve been.  To start
out, my pictures were great!
Now for Animoto; this is an online video program
that created my 2nd Digital Scrapbook. Animoto had great things on it just like
Smilebox. For starters, you didn’t have to download something to get to make
your video. I just made it, no downloading, no waste of time, no storage
wasted. The bad thing about it was that they did not have the options of
captions underneath the picture itself. They did have text but it would be in a
separate frame from the picture. Another thing is the video itself; Animoto wouldn’t
allow me to play their video without it putting a watermark on my photos
throughout the presentation.
Both Programs were great! I would recommend both
programs to you or someone looking for a great, quick, good quality video. My
only suggestion on Animoto is that you might want to pay for the Pro feature
which doesn’t cost much. Again, that is an optional thing. If I had to pick a
favorite program that I used, it would have to be Smilebox. It was such a good program;
the download time actually didn’t take long at all. Hope you can too enjoy
Smilebox and/or Animoto.

Scavenger Hunt

I took a few photos around my school, and had to be literally all over the place. Once I got done moving all over the school, I placed my photos into a Contact Sheet. Here is my Contact Sheet:
Here are a few of my favorite photos in the Contact Sheet:

Medium  Shot of Something Seated

Low Angle of Something Red

Bird's Eye Shot

Close up of something Forgotten

Extreme Close up of an Eye
I chose these photos because, I got creative with them like, for a close up of something forgotten I took a picture of the Lost and Found Sign. These pictures were fun to take. I hope you enjoy my pictures just like I do.

Photography

I know quite a bit about Photography. I do take photos mostly of my family reunion or just posting on social media. That's basically all I take photos of, I do edit my photos before posting them on social media. I use the different edit effects that are available to me. My knowledge on photos does have a limit. My goal in Photography is to take a picture and edit it or do whatever is needed to make it the perfect picture. Taking photos is certainly not boring, it's fun! I do have a lot of interest in taking pictures and getting my knowledge to somewhat to a lot.

I created an Infographic!

I used a website called Infogram to create my infographic! My Infographic is about Economy!

This infographic explains the debt and unemployment problems of the nation and even the world! We need to get back on track with our economy, creating jobs, and just not being in so much debt. Hopefully, what this infographic will do to you is scare you into how much debt and how many unemployed people we have as a nation!

Hope you enjoy my infographic that I created!

Infographic

This is an infographic that really draws attention to me because, it is talking about the Olympics in the shape of a torch which is an Olympic tradition.

The Dictionary defines the term Infographic as a visual image such as a chart or diagram used to represent information or data. What that means is that in an Infographic holds information in the shape of a picture somewhat representing the topic that it is about. In this case it is representing Olympic Data.

Infographics provide information through a creative picture. It is a "creative" way to give a presentation, look at Data, etc. Anyone gets all the information that they would get if they were just looking at a bunch of documents, which is boring!

Infographics work in a creative, cool, fun way! For example, my infographic, one would easily be able to tell that Cricket was played in the 1900 Paris Olympics. In this case I went down to Cricket listed in all of the activities found a dot, and then was able to tell it was played in the 1900 Paris Olympics. Our brain uses peripheral vision to look at images so that way, when we shuffle through sites (we all do it) and we stumble upon an infographic it catches our peripheral vision and catches our eye.

In my personal opinion, a good infographic is made by lots of pictures to represent data, because the human eye is more attracted to pictures instead of data. Instead of sitting in a business meeting or a corporate presentation and listening to them explain a boring graph, an infographic would instead keep people interested in your topic.

Favorite App

If I had to choose my favorite app on my phone, it would probably have to be The World's Hardest Game for some reasons. The World's Hardest Game has an addicting factor to it, however The World's Hardest Game 2 is not my favorite app. That does not have as cool of graphics as the first one. Which usually is surprising, because when you think of a the next level up of an app. One would think of better graphics or at least a harder version of the app. The World's Hardest Game 2 is actually believe it or not, a little bit easier than the first one. The World's Hardest Game on the other hand is harder and challenges you more than the 2nd one. The levels in the game progress into a harder mode as you go. The levels in the 2nd one progress harder but they do not progress much. Hopefully the 3rd version will be much better than the 2nd one. So All in all, I would recommend that you try to complete all 90 levels of the online game or all 60 levels of the app version of the game.

October 4-5

Welcome to my first blog post for this Blog! This blog post is going to talk about the weekend of October 4th and 5th, which was very busy. This weekend was busy for me! The weekend started as soon as my rehearsal for the School Play ended. I went driving a few times around to places after school in the parking lot and places like that. My Saturday was crowded by a retreat that I went to that lasted 6 hours on the first day (5:00 - 11:00 pm). It was very fun and this retreat was for a church choir group that is for my church. So, we rehearsed there for a little bit and then would have a break. Then we would rehearse some more, have a project or two, it is overall a pretty hard, but fun retreat! One could guess what happened after that retreat that ended at 11:00, I decided to just go to bed, because the retreat continued until the next day when we had to go back to the campsite, Camp Timberlake. Which by the way was a very nice campsite to be at. So I went to bed to get up without wanting to sleep while at the retreat. I got ready to perform a church worship service for the morning half of the retreat, because of people missing church and all. So, I gathered all my notes for my service and had practiced them and got dressed for the retreat! I got into my ride for Part two of the retreat and we were on our way. The second I got there I had to go up and set up for the service by putting everything in place for the service. Then, came in the choir for my service. I had them sit down and we would go ahead and start the service. Next thing you know, the thing you just practiced for, for a good period of time, about a little under 2 weeks is happening. It went great in my opinion, and they all congratulated me on doing a good job on my service. Then we rehearsed and had breaks and I made a movie for the retreat (Coming to a YouTube near you) and everything went great for the rest of the day! So, all in all it was a really great retreat and a fun weekend!

Moral of the Story: Don't stress so much over giving a presentation to people that you know, have fun with it!

So, How was your weekend?
